2019 SES National Conference on Christian Apologetics

Evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ is a common topic in Christian apologetics. However, we hear comparatively little about the virgin birth of Christ. On the other hand, the Virgin Birth is a very common point of attack by skeptics. So what can we say about the Virgin Birth? Is there any historical evidence for it? What about the claims that it was borrowed from pagan myths? In this session, we will address these and other questions. We will find that there is surprisingly good evidence that Jesus was indeed born of a virgin.
