Every conversation you have about movies is an opportunity for apologetics and evangelism. In this session, you will learn to use popular movies to make a design argument for our faith, share the Gospel, show that the Gospel reaches our minds and hearts, and to answer the problem of evil. We walk through several popular movies/shows (Marvel/DC heroes, Taken, Rambo, 300, Beauty and the Beast, the Notebook, Stranger Things, and more) to show that the stories we love and the movies we make are modeled after the Gospel. We naturally structure our stories' themes after the Gospel and base our heroes upon the supreme archetypal hero: Christ. We are designed to cling to the Gospel's rational ends and inherent beauty. There are reasons why the Author of our story ordained good, evil, suffering, redemption, and restoration for us. And, there's a rational explanation for why the prince and princess must live "happily ever after."
